Alexia Glensy

Amsterdam based LeMaia label boss Alexia Glensy started her career at a young age. She played her signature blend of 90’s flavoured house and minimal at world renowned clubs such as D-Edge in her hometown Sao Paolo. She decided to leave the colourful vibrant capital of Brazil for Europe and after a year in London, settled in Amsterdam where her musical career took off again.

She set up hervinyl only record label and fashion brand Le Maiain 2020 together with fellow Brazilian fashion art director Sofia Tabet. The first EP featuring Ben Balance, Julian Anthony, Kizoku and Le Louche with art from painter Kevin Sabo was instantly loved among diggers. The first clothing line has the same Kevin Sabo artas the label and was featured in Vogue UK.

Alexia started her European journey with gigs at Basing House and Egg London. She then gained recognition with Le Maiaand respected podcasts such as Sonder LDN during the pandemic lockdown. Despite her success it remained an unexpected honour that Amsterdam’s mighty Shelter club would ask her to play at the first event after 14 months of clubs being closed. Great things are expected from this bright young artist.
