Philogresz aka ilker Soylu was born in that huge metropolis of Turkey 'Istanbul' , begin 80's! In the summer of 2002 he moved to Dordrecht / The Netherlands and started his education of music production at Art Academy of Utrecht (HKU) and later stage; SAE(school of sound engineering). Soon after he has set up his own company 078 Productions and has been working as a promoter for more than 4 years which had to end depending on his passion for music productions, and recordings. Past 2 years he has been focusing on his own musical pieaces intensely and so far has released and will release tracks on record labels such as; Night Drive Music(de), 3rd WAVE(de), Baroque(uk), Perplex(de, as Concolor), Manual(nl), TEAM, Stolen Moments(nl), Magnitude-Digitude Recordings(nl). Philogresz sound is kind a melodic, moody, jazzy and organically composed and yet arrogantly arranged techno with an absolute no boundary. He is not scared to experiment on stage with complex beat, percussive lines and yet achieves to move people in a subtle way. Ilker is currently responsible for A&R management of the brand-new record label started by Dutch techno master Secret Cinema/Grooveyard. And as an artist he has released ' Debut on Blackwarm EP ' incl. remixes of Secret Cinema and Qbical. His productions is and have been played/supported by Sasha, Progression, Martin Eyerer, Joris Voorn, Unai, Karotte, Literon, Andre Kronert (Neurotron), Edwin Oosterwal (Rejected), Nuno Dos Santos(Compost), Tyler Stadius, Benny Rodrigues, Daniel Wanrooy (Vapour), Secret Cinema, Estroe(Bedrock), Francesco Pico (Global Underground) and many more. Despite his short career in Electronic Music, Philogresz has experienced some remarkable gigs including countries; Italy, France, Turkey & Belgium On top of these things, he is hosting his very own radio show Dynamix-Radio on every Friday 21:00 CET and inviting the best Dutch / International dj producer as guest, to perform live at his cozy studio! www.dynamix- radio.com Recently, Philogresz has just finalized the production his brandnew SENTIMENT EP on Sound Architecture records due to be released in November 2008 Dec, which is already supported by Martin Eyerer, Joachim, Boris Ross and many more.
