Some Chemistry

Ridzert Beetstra was raised in Africa and South America, where the rhythm got in his system. At the age of 14 he sharpened his sense for melodies and harmony playing as a (bass) guitarist in several indie and rock bands. As a youngster he perfectly fitted the indie description; playing bands, checking out concerts, partying at festivals, ‘being cool’. When he got more into electronic music he started developing a fine taste for the underground and progressive scene. Listening to his DJ-sets you can hear he has feeling for multiple genres, mixing contemporary classics with carefully picked originals. He holds residences at Next Monday’s Hangover, Prisma and Pleinvrees, but the biggest highlights were playing at Time Warp and a sold out Amsterdam United with buddies La Vondèl and ME.N.U.
