Is Awakenings Festival taking place 27 + 28 June?

Awakenings Festival won't take place in the weekend of 27th and 28th of June 2020. Last week, May 6th, the Dutch government announced new measures for the upcoming months regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Following up we had to decide that Awakenings Festival 2020 will now definitely be postponed to the 26th and 27th of June 2021.

When will Awakenings Festival 2022 take place?

We will announce the date of Awakenings Festival on Thursday.

Will the lineup be the same?

We are in contact with all artists and doing our utmost best to confirm the same line up. This of course depends on lots of aspects, amongst others their existing schedules. We will inform you as soon as possible.

What if I cannot make it on the new date?

If you cannot make it to our next edition, we offer an Awakenings voucher. With this voucher, you will receive the amount of your order (including service fees) as an electronic voucher to purchase a ticket for one of our events in the future. The voucher will be valid to use till 31-12-2021, so there will be plenty of time and good alternative events to redeem it.
If you have no intention of visiting any Awakenings events in this period, you can request a monetary refund.

Are my lockers/parking tickets also still valid for the new edition?

Yes, all locker and/or parking tickets will also be valid for the new edition.

What will happen to my ticket for Awakenings Festival?

If you already bought a ticket for Awakenings Festival, this ticket will stay valid for the upcoming edition, whether the event is postponed to later this year or to 2021. This means you will be able to experience Awakenings Festival the way you imagined it to be. You also have the opportunity to choose for a voucher, equal to the amount of your initial ticket order, which can be used for one of our other events. We of course hope either of these options works for you and we will welcome you at one of our events in the near future. By choosing one of these options, you would tremendously help us, so we can keep on developing Awakenings Festival.

I bought my Awakenings Festival ticket via Ticketswap, will I get a refund and how much will this be?

Awakenings has a partnership with Ticketswap. This means all tickets sold through Ticketswap have been canceled and reissued on the name of the new buyer. The new buyers have the same rights as ticket buyers who bought tickets at Paylogic, so the value of the original ticket (incl service fee). The refund needs to be requested at Ticketswap. info@ticketswap.com

I bought a travel / accommodation package, what does this mean for me? What are the (refund) options?

If you’ve purchased a Hotel Package for Awakenings Festival 2020, we would like to offer you the following options:

Your order will remain valid. This means you will be able to experience the event during Festival 2022, like you imagined.

or

Your order will be cancelled, and you will receive a voucher instead. The voucher holds a value equal to the amount of your initial order, which can be used for all Awakenings events. The voucher will be valid until December 31st, 2022.

Or

Your order will be cancelled, and you will receive a refund.

Is Awakenings presents taking place 22 + 23 August?

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that this means that Awakenings Presents 2020 in the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of August cannot take place and we have to cancel Awakenings | Adam Beyer presents Drumcode and Awakenings | FCKNG SERIOUS by Boris Brejcha.

What will happen to my ticket for Awakenings Presents?

If you already bought a ticket for Awakenings Presents, you have received an email with three different options. We of course hope either of these options work for you and we will welcome you at one of our events in the near future.

I bought my Awakenings Presents ticket via Ticketswap, will I get a refund and how much will this be?

Awakenings has a partnership with Ticketswap. This means all tickets sold through Ticketswap have been canceled and reissued on the name of the new buyer. All ticketswap buyers get the same three options; keep your ticket, exchange for a voucher or apply for a refund. The voucher/ refund amount will be the amount as placed on Ticketswap.

I bought a ticket via ticket reseller X, will my ticket also be refunded?

We are not able to give you any information regarding other unofficial ticket resellers such as Marktplaats, Tickets4u, Tickettack etc., as there is no official partnership between us. You could try to get in contact with the reseller and/or with the person that has sold you (a) ticket(s) as he/she will be receive an email with information regarding the current situation.

I booked a hotel and/or flight myself, can I get a refund for this?

Unfortunately, it is beyond our control to assist you in obtaining alternative solutions / refunds for products purchased by companies other than our official ticketing company, Paylogic. We advise you to check in with the company you booked your hotel and/or flight with, we’ve learned from our experience that they probably can help you out in this situation.

How does the voucher work?

You have received an email from Paylogic, containing the electronic voucher. The email will contain information of the exact fulfillment. If you would like to purchase tickets for another Awakenings event, you can submit the voucher code during the check-out process in our ticketshop. The voucher will remain valid until December 31, 2022 and can be used for all upcoming Awakenings events.

What will the amount of the voucher be?

The amount of the voucher will be equal to your order plus ticket fees (excluding merchandise, shipment costs and insurance). If you have bought your ticket through Ticketswap, the amount will be the amount of the order as placed on ticketswap.

When can I expect to receive the voucher?

We are working hard to set up the technical solution to process the vouchers, we expect that you will receive the electronic voucher from our ticketing partner Paylogic mid-June at the latest.

Do I have to spend the amount of the voucher all at once?

You will receive a voucher for the total order amount of your order, for example 100,- euro.
If you spend 60,- euro on a new ticket, for example for one of our NYE events, after you have completed that order, you will receive a new voucher with the remaining amount of 40,- euro.
If you then buy a next ticket which is 50,- euro, you can enter the voucher and will have to pay the remaining amount of 10,- euro extra with your creditcard, Paypal or iDeal.

Can I transfer of sell the credit?

The voucher will be issued to the original buyer. Only the original buyer will have the 24 hour priority to the shop.

However, you can use the voucher in the complete Awakenings shop, so for all events. Someone else can use the code at the checkout for events that are in general sale.

Until when will the voucher be valid?

The voucher will be valid until March 1, 2023.

When will I ultimately have to make a decision on what option works best for me?

If you bought a ticket, you have received an e-mail in which you can let us know before the 1st of August, which option suits you best. If we do not receive such notification, your ticket will automatically become valid for the upcoming edition of Awakenings Easter 2021.

Can I split the credit between the friends I purchased tickets for?

The vouchers will be issued to the original buyer, who placed the order. This unfortunately means it is not possible to break down the order.

One of my group members is no longer able to attend, what will happen to my booking?

It is only possible to process the preferred option of the entire order. This unfortunately means it is not possible to break down the order amongst your group.
