SOCIAL SAFETY HUB AND TEAM

Did something happen at the festival? Please turn to our staff on site.

We have created a Social Safety Hub, facilitated by Revolution. This is a place you can visit any time if you feel insecure or if you want to talk to someone about (social-) safety or have questions or comments. The Social Safety Hub can be found at the festival besides the first aid. It is marked on the floorplan with a heart.

The Social Safety teams walk around the festival as well and are recognizable by their jackets with 'SOCIAL SAFETY TEAM' on their back.

If this does not feel comfortable, there are leaflets at the entrance and toilets with a QR-code. By scanning the QR-code, you will start a WhatsApp converstation with staff on site who will help you.

For your convenience, we have a pre-sale Summer Festival Camping store.

Buying your items in this shop guarantees you your favorite items or a guaranteed spot at one of the program classes and means you can skip the line. At the campsite, simply go to the ‘Click & Collect’ point and your e-ticket will be scanned.

MERCHANDISE

We have a brand new festival merchandise line, only available at the festival, including hats & swimwear. Make sure to get yours as all items and sizes are very limited. Once you have ordered the items, our crew will pack your order within 2 hours and you can pick it up at the merchandise stand between Festival Entrance South & Area V. So no need to rush to the merchandise store, we’ve got you covered and your order is ready for pick-up between Festival opening hours.

SPORTS BY BAR-LE-DUC

Stay fit and enjoy one of the many sports classes we offer like yoga, buddy workouts and more. Please be aware some classes are limited so book in advance to secure your spot. No need to bring your own drinks, Bar-Le-Duc got you covered on the hydration part!

HEALING PROGRAM

Get ready for some time of relaxation and peace to recharge for the rest of the weekend. Please be aware some classes are limited so book in advance to secure your spot.

CAMPING GEAR

No need to carry all your stuff. Buy your 2-person tent, ZZZ Air mattrass, chair and lock in pre-sale and pick it up at the Camping Store. Limited availability.

MASSAGE & WELLNESS

A whole weekend of partying requires more energy than you think. Take care of yourself and book yourself and your friends a well-deserved treat! You will receive a discount when booking in the online store.

MIND EXPERIENCE

Tickle your brain with this 75-minute experience.The session starts with a mini in which we discuss the power of the law of exploring attraction. This is the first step towards manifesting your dreams. After this workshop, the participants will be given headphones and taken on a breathing journey, inspired by Wim Hof.

We have multiple art installations at the festival, wander around to see them all.

WATERCOLOR BY ESTRANGED STUDIO

“Watercolor” is an immersive installation by Estranged Studio, a collective focussing on a fusion of art and environment. This awe-inspiring waterfall sculpture stands 4 meters high and stretches 10 meters long, creating a dynamic, serpentine flow of water that envelops visitors. By blending pigments into the water, Estranged Studio has transformed the waterfall into a colossal 'living slide,' a vibrant and ever-changing art piece. You will find this art piece at the festival.

OMGEVINGSBEWUSTZIJN BY LISA BAST

"OMGEVINGSBEWUSTZIJN" is a light art installation featuring two majestic pillars and a central projector. The pillars, symbolizing strength and connection, stand as silent guardians of the forest. The projector breathes life into the space with enchanting visuals, filling it with ethereal light. This immersive experience transports viewers, stirring deep emotions and a profound awareness of the human experience. It invites introspection and dialogue, fostering a heightened sense of holistic awareness and connection.

SPACEBALLS BY BOS DECO

Don’t be startled to find some other earthly objects scattered all over the terrain. Different ways of interaction with these objects are there for you to discover.

CRYSTALIZED BY MARINA ZUMI

Find this otherworldly LED art by the great Marina Zumi at one of the terraces of our north terrain.

GATES BY MARINA ZUMI

This is the latest site specific light installation by Argentinian native and Berlin based artist Marina Zumi. This geometric sculptural path, can be found around some of the picnic area’s in the northern terrain. Gates, is a subtle link to the ‘Pass Throw’ feeling so much need it in this actual times, from a positive abstract perspective.

WILDWATER BY BEELDJUTTERS

The visual poets of Beeldjutters present a new three dimensional sculpture of water. This year they went bigger and better with multiple fountains. When you look at the fountains at night, you will discover a holographic human figure battling and tempting the water in a dance of brute force.

SMOKE PROJECTIONS BY BEELDJUTTERS

A tunnel of light beams appears, while smoke fills the space and shrouds the landscape in mist. Is this the portal to another reality? Get slowly absorbed in this hypnotizing lightart and you’ll find out yourself.

LIGHT SCULPTURES BY STUDIO GROENEWALD

Get your daily fixtures. Robert creates geometric light sculptures through his fascination of shapes. His mission is to enhance the contrast between the chaos of nature and the arranged order. Complementing this with bright neon colors this is feast for the eyes, especially during dusk and dawn, where the sculptures become beacons of the night.

AWAKESNAKES BY BLOMDESIGN

These objects are there for hanging and admiring. Find these abstract worms somewhere around the south of our terrain.

No need to lug around heavy camping gear! Visit our Camping Recycle & repair store and rent 2nd hand essential items like chairs, tables, and coolboxes. By choosing to rent, you'll lighten your load and make a positive impact on the environment by reducing your carbon footprint.

Did you discover a small hole in your air mattress? Don't worry, we can fix it!

If you've brought your own camping equipment but won't be using it again, we encourage you to make a difference by dropping it off at our recycle store before you depart. Your donated gear will find a new home with refugees, creating a positive impact on their lives and fostering sustainability.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

WRISTBANDS & ACCESSIBILITY

At the entrance every weekend visitor receives an Awakenings wristband. This wristband gives you access to the festival and camping during the entire weekend, so don’t take it off. With a Grand Camping wristband, you cannot enter the Relax Resort. If you are staying at the Relax Resort, you will have access to the Gand Camping and all it’s activities. Wristbands will only be distributed once. If you have any questions or issues you can go back to the entrance.

AWAKENINGS RECEPTION OPEN 24H

Check in, Info, Lost & Found & campstore. At both campsites, you can find our information desk & small camp store which is open 24-hours a day from Friday - Monday.

FIRST AID OPEN 24H

First Aid is located at the centre of the Grand camping and is open 24-hours a day from Friday - Monday. You can go there for any questions or health issues 24-hours a day. In case of an emergency, warn ­ someone from the organization, security, or First Aid. A full weekend of partying can be tiring, so make sure you look after each other. And remember, the First Aid team is your friend!

The first aid has also teams walking around both campsites. If you are at the Relax Resort and need medical assistance you can ask our staff if someone is nearby.

ALL DRUGS ARE FORBIDDEN

Awakenings is a Zero Tolerance event. All kinds of hard drugs like pills, ­ powders, liquids, mushrooms, and soft drugs such as weed/hasj/joints and N2O (nitrous oxide/ laughing gas) are forbidden.

There will be inspections at the entrance of the festival & campsite. When you are caught with drugs, your party is over and you might be handed over to the police.

CHARGING YOUR PHONE

For many people cell phones have become indispensable and unfortunately the current smartphone batteries often don’t last for more than a day. At the camp store at the reception you can buy a mobile charger and at the locker desk on the festival site.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Bring your happy face.
• Age 18+ (don't forget your ID).
• Always follow the instructions of staff, security, and emergency services personnel.
• We have the right to refuse admittance without restitution of entrance fees.
• Before entering, our crew or security can ask for your identification to check your name and age.
• Only in case of emergency, you are allowed to leave the campsite /festival area.
• You have read and respect our code of conduct. Always respect other visitors, no (sexual) harassment will be tolerated. In case you suffer anything of this kind, please turn to the staff of our First Aid, they are trained to help you.
• No pets / fireworks / weapons / sharp or dangerous objects are allowed.
• No drugs are allowed, so all (hard and soft) drugs, pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms, and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden.
• No hash/weed is tolerated at this festival (only at our events in Amsterdam Gashouder)
• Security will thoroughly search everybody before and during the event.
• When hard drugs are found you will be removed from the event and you might be handed over to the police.
• Campsite: You may bring your own food for own consumption.
• Campsite: You may bring a total of 4,5L of liquid pro person, among which a maximum of 1L can be pre-mixed.
• Campsite: All liquid must be sealed and packed in its original packaging· Glass packaging is not allowed· Pre-mixed only in original and sealed packaging (cans)· Soft drinks are allowed· Strong liquor (more than 15%) is not allowed
• Campsite: Leave your spot clean, we have a ‘leave no trace’ policy on the complete campgrounds.
• Gas grills, stoves, fridges, beer kegs and jockey boxes are not allowed.
• For your own safety and of other visitors crowd surfing, climbing in trees or scaffoldings and starting a fire is not allowed.
• Swimming in the lake is only allowed at the designated areas and on designated hours.
• Public urinating is not allowed and is distasteful for others, smelly and completely unnecessary.
• Small battery powered speakers with a maximal volume of 80 dB(A) are allowed. Speakers with a volume more than 80 dB(A) are not allowed. Size max 30cm. Respect your neighbors!
• Candles are not allowed.
• Camera surveillance and metal detectors are part of our and your safety.
• Selfie sticks, professional photo / film / video / audio equipment are not allowed. Standard digital cameras/phones are allowed.
• Club-oriented football shirts, motorclub colors or shirts/stickers with offending lyrics/symbols etc. are not allowed.
• Football shirts of national teams are allowed.
• Please keep your shirt on.
• Masks that cover the eyes / whole face are not allowed. Only (Medical) face masks for covering nose and mouth are allowed.
• Large flags / inflatable objects are not allowed.
• Smoking is only allowed outside.
• Access is at your own risk. If you feel uncomfortable or if you want ear protection, please go to our first aid / EHBO / EMS, they are your friends.
• It's forbidden to have commercial activities, without the agreement of the organization.

WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE CAMPING?

DRINKS

You may bring a total of 4,5L of liquid per person, among which a maximum of 1L can be alcohol or pre-mixed. All liquid must be sealed and packed in its original packaging:

• Glass packaging is not allowed
• Pre-mixed only in original and sealed packaging (cans)
• Soft drinks are allowed
• Strong liquor (more than 15% alcohol) is not allowed

FOOD

You can bring your own food for your own consumption. Open fires, camping stoves and BBQs are not allowed.

FREE WATER

Water is for everyone! That’s why you can fill up your own bottles or­ ­ jerry cans with water at any time at the water taps at the sanitary facilities. At the festival we will provide several free water points near the toilets.

LOCKERS

You can store your stuff in your car, accommodation or tent.

There are also lockers available for rent, these are located at the Grand Camping and at the Relax Resort and accessible 24 hours a day.

Beekse Bergen or Awakenings are not responsible for any losses or theft of personal belongings.

LOST & FOUND

Lost and found items can be handed in and picked up at the information desk during the weekend. Can’t find it while you’re here? We work together with iLost (www.ilost.com/nl)in order to return the found items to their rightful owners after the festival.

MUSIC

Bringing your own speakers is allowed, as long as they are only audible ­ within a few meters from where they’re ­ positioned and are max 30cm big. Complete stereo sets are not allowed. Of course, it’s a ­ weekend full of partying, but think about your neighbors who may want to get some sleep at night. Don’t feel like going to bed yet? You are more than welcome to have a drink and dance some more in Area N until 05:00.

TOKENS & PIN

Tokens are valid almost everywhere during the entire weekend. Only at the supermarket and merchandise stand you can pay with pin and not with tokens.

RESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Respect the Beekse Bergen area, campsite & festival we build and treat it appropriately. Handle items that don’t belong to you with care. Thank you.

SANITARY FACILITIES - OPEN 24H

Throughout the entire camping area there are sanitary facilities available 24H per day.

These buildings contain toilets, washbasins and warm water showers. You can also use your hairdryer, straightener or shaver here.

CAMPING ENTRANCES & OPENING HOURS

The entrances of the camping are staffed 24 hours a day. On the display of your wristband, you can walk in and out whenever you want, but don’t do it too often and stay in the Awakenings bubble. You will be checked every time you come back in.

CIGARETTES

We do not sell cigarettes at the festival or campsite (including Spar).

Due to Dutch regulations, it is forbidden to smoke inside venues and tents. If you still want to smoke, please do so outside. Thank you for cooperating and avoiding expensive fines.

Max packs of cigarettes allowed to bring per person:
Visiting 1 day = 2 packs / vaporizers
Weekend = 8 packs / vaporizers
